If you haven’t heard, Nissan is having an awesome contest.

Nissan is giving away 50 Nissan Cubes to 500 lucky people. I am lucky enough to be one of those people.

Basically, I have a 1 in 10 chance of winning a new car! This is why I need YOUR help.

I want to make a statement on why asymmetry is beautful (the Nissan Cube itself being asymmetrical) and I’ll need a picture of your face (yes! YOU!!). The pictures should be taken head on, straight (as symmetrical as possible), with as neutral an expression as possible. It’s a fun little experiment and I’ll think you’ll enjoy it too.

If you send me a picture, I’ll promote you and your blog/twitter/youtube/facebook on my site. If you send me a picture and you’re in the Montreal area, I’ll make you part of the Cube Tube.

What are you going to do with this car if/when you win it?

Well, Nissan is really doing something awesome with this contest and that is: allowing people to promote their talents and their art themselves. They’re not asking for “canvases” to center around the Nissan Cube or anything, they really want people to showcase their art.Which is pretty cool.

I plan to continue Nissan’s artist/individual promotion movement by starting a web series called Cube Tube.

Cube Tube will be an online web series dedicated to the promotion of independent artists and people around me. I’ll basically pick up guests in the Nissan Cube and drive around and converse with them about hot topics, their work, the future, basically anything that comes to mind. Cube Tube will help promote the individuals who are doing extraordinary things.
